You can expect “truthtelling” teaching and preaching with a marginalized emphasis when you join the stable.

I have designed the stable to provide an online space where people can gather to learn about and connect with God. 

Through sound biblical education and proclamation of the Good News, the stable is all about truth telling. 

Here’s what happens online each Tuesday at 7pm Central: 

• A warm stable welcome and introduction
• Centering time
• Scripture reading
• The “Exegetical Onion,” the term I use to address the contextual layers needed to interpret Scripture today 
• Re-reading of Scripture with this new contextual info
• A sermon informed by the Exegetical Onion 
• Community invitations that connect us to the Scripture in daily lives
• Praise and Prayer requests from the online stable community (that’s you!)
• A closing prayer and sending

Here’s what you won’t find at the stable:

• Financial obligations
• Fancy veneer
• Hidden agendas
• Ambiguity
• Power trips
• Privilege
• Programs over people
